GP Practice Website Design FAQ
How long will the website take to complete?
As soon as we receive your content we will commence work on your website. We aim to have your website completed within four weeks from date of receipt of your content.
What training do we receive?
You will receive two hours on site training at a time convenient to you (this is included in the standard template fee). Additional training will be charged at £50.00 per hour.
I want our patients to book appointments on our website?
The appointment module is not included within the standard website template, if you wish this functionality there is an additional charge.
Will our website always function within current Health Board IT systems?
As John is currently employed as a Practice Manager, then this will ensure that your website functionality should always work within current Health Board IT parameters. As more Practices are using websites as a mechanism to promote their services it is very important that your website can be accessed and updated by the Practice.
Can I access my Practice website at another location?
Yes if you have internet explorer 6 or higher you can access and update your website from any location.
What support is available?
Your first month of support is free of charge thereafter any additional support will be charged at £25.00 per call however the system is very robust and we do not anticipate any problems after the first month, by which time staff should be very familiar with the system.
How do I contact you if I have a problem?
You can either contact us via email at info@gppracticedesign.com or by phone on 0141 416 4111. If contacting us via phone please leave a message on our automated answering service and we will return your call within two hours or at a specified time.
What is the charge for your services?
The website template is a fixed fee of £499.00 plus VAT, you will be invoiced by us on satisfactory completion of your website. Payment is within 28 days , and you can pay by Cheque, Credit Card, or PayPal. Individual websites that are specifically tailored for your own requirements are £999.00 plus V.A.T. There is an annual charge of £75.00 per year for your domain hosting.
What if I am unhappy with my website?
If we are unable to resolve any problems you are experiencing with your website within 28 days,of publication then we will provide you with a full refund and remove all access and functionality of your website.
Do I need sponsorship for my website?
No. As you have paid for your website advertisements do not form part of your website.
Does the website confirm to current data control, Privacy Laws and confidentiality legislation?
The website meets the NHS code of Confidentiality and specified information as contained in the Data Protection Act 1998.
